The active ingredients found in AddieUp contain several different nootropic compounds known to improve brain function and intellectual capacity.
Nootropics are so named for their ability to positively influence cognitive processes like memory formation, learning, and even concentration. The word Nootropic itself comes from Greek and means “affecting the mind”.
Nootropics work by improving the responsiveness and communication processes in your brain cells through affecting the operations of different neurotransmitters and enzymes.
The AddieUp supplement includes one of the most widely used nootropics called Choline, which is a direct precursor to the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine.
This powerful brain chemical is thought responsible for synaptic plasticity, memory retention and a number of other cognitive processes. Choline also restores and protects brain cells and allows for enhanced communication due to improved neuronal connections.
Unfortunately, the type of Choline included in AddieUp is noted for being very cheap but not very bioavailable and not all of it will be effective in your brain. Better choline sources include Alpha GPC or CDP Choline (Citicoline) which have much greater brain enhancement benefits associated with them.
AddieUp also includes Ginkgo Biloba which is an herb that has become popular as a concentration booster. You will also find Huperzine A which has been shown to be a very effective Nootropic agent, helping to improve concentration and retention.
There are also a number of stimulating ingredients in this formulation. These include Yerba Mate, Guarana, and Caffeine Anhydrous. Yerba Mate has been used for centuries to provide a long lasting and calm type of energy that helps with focus devoid of anxiousness or hyperactivity. It is also known to be a powerful anti-oxidant and has additional health benefits.
The Guarana extract is another natural product with proven benefits that enhance mental alertness, function, mood, stress, and anxiety reduction. Caffeine Anhydrous is pharmaceutical grade strength to kick everything into high gear along with providing the needed alertness and mental clarity as an added bonus.
The ingredients listed above are all known to work and together you can expect a synergistic effect for improved attention and concentration. There is also the possibility of experiencing increased memory, learning capacity, and attention span.
The natural herbal stimulants such as Yerba Mate and Caffeine are strong enough to improve energy levels for almost anyone, even if they will not compare to the potency of Adderall or other amphetamine-based stimulants. Of course, it is also important to remember that everyone reacts differently and you may see better results or you may feel nothing at all.
In general, AddieUp has fewer ingredients than most of the other Adderall alternatives on the market and it is also lacking many of the more potent nootropics that can improve your concentration and focus.
If you do decide you want to try AddieUp, a good course of action would be to stack it with another supplement such as Piracetam, Aniracetam or Pramiracetam which are all research proven to dramatically increase mental energy and attention span.
You may also want to forgo AddieUp entirely and instead try a supplement like Alpha Brain that offers a little more power in terms of its brain boosting ingredients.
AddieUp vs Adderall
AddieUp has often been touted as an alternative to Adderall and possibly even Ritalin.
Both of these are prescription medications that are used to treat issues like ADD and ADHD. They serve to improve mental function through their central nervous system stimulation and chemical changes within the brain.
The interesting thing to note is that AddieUp actually does produce a number of similar benefits to these drugs but with much less potency.
It is also much cheaper and there will be less side effects. Not to mention the fact that the drugs themselves have the potential to cause chemical dependence and addiction. Plus, you will not feel strung out once you stop taking this supplement.
AddieUp Side Effects:
While this supplement is generally regarded as safe and well-tolerated by healthy adults, there are several side effects associated with its use. These include headaches, insomnia, and some irritability.
Of course, these are not typical and it is possibly that you might not experience any type of side effects at all with your regular AddieUp dosages. If these do occur, usually they are just from the body adjusting to the workings of the supplement and should pass within 10-15 days.
Where To Buy AddieUp:
AddieUp is not available in most local retail health or vitamin stores. You will likely not find it at GNC, CVS, Walgreens, and the like. Instead, the best place to find this is online directly from the AddieUp website. Each pill costs approximately $1 and most people say they need to take two pills to really feel the effects.
Of course, if you are on a budget you can always buy the pure ingredients by themselves and recreate this stack on your own. This is what most nootropic users do, preferring to buy powdered Choline and mixing it with Piracetam, Aniracetam or Noopept on their own. The cost will be measurably more affordable in the long term and will likely produce better effects.

Addie Up worked fine for energy, but I had some heart palpitations (although they were really minor) and the big side effect I had that caused me to stop taking it was that I developed Tinnitus. It went away within about two weeks of stopping Addie Up. Overall I’d say that this pill works for energy, but the concentration increase I experienced was very minor. Monitor your body for side effects, all of mine were temporary.
Hi Thomas. Thanks so much for sharing your review! I know our readers appreciate hearing your feedback.
