Ampheta S/Combo is the generic formulation of a prescription medication called Adderall.
Ampheta contains a combination of several amphetamine salts that include dextroamphetamine and amphetamine itself.
These are central nervous system stimulants that affect chemicals in the brain and nerves contributing to impulse control and hyperactivity.
Some of the conditions that this supplement may be used to treat are ADHD as well as helping people with low energy levels. Another application for this drug is as a wakefulness agent. In fact, it has been used to help treat those suffering from narcolepsy and fatigue (especially fatigue caused by sleep disorders).
Ampheta is also frequently used without a prescription as a smart drug or study pill for cognitive enhancement purposes.

In order to understand how Ampheta S/Combo works it is helpful to think of your brain cells as having storage areas, or synaptic vesicles, for chemicals known as neurotransmitters. Some of these neurotransmitters include Dopamine, Serotonin, and Adrenaline.
What Ampheta does is enter these ‘storage’ areas and force the neurotransmitters out. As such, you have more neurotransmitters being released from your neurons and you experience higher levels of cognitive activity.
As these neurotransmitters bind to their receptor sites, it causes a number of mental processes to occur from basic cognition to memory formation to recall to mood regulation to attention and concentration.
Another effect of taking this medication is that it may actually reduce the ability of your brain and body to produce more of these neurotransmitters. The danger in this case is that once you stop taking the supplement, there may a resulting ‘crash’ or period of time where the body needs to readjust in order to begin producing these neurotransmitters once again in sufficient quantities.
The reasoning behind why Ampheta S/Combo (or Adderall for that matter) does this is known as receptor down-regulation. Your brain receptors notice the increased level of stimulation and respond by synthesizing less of these neurotransmitters to try and restore balance.
As such, it can only cause short-term gains in mental performance and actually diminishes the ability of the brain to function temporarily. This is why Ampheta is considered a cognitive enhancer but does not fall under the definition of nootropic.
Ampheta Benefits:
The most sought after benefit of this supplement is an improvement in concentration, mood and general mental function.
The neurotransmitters affected by Ampheta S have a highly positive effect on mood because they are involved in mediating many of your moments of joy or pleasure.
There will be relatively high levels of Dopamine, Serotonin, and Adrenaline in the brain. In some users, this may even lead to feelings of euphoria.
As a treatment for ADHD, this pharmaceutical also helps to improve cognitive performance. Attention spans and focus are normally enhanced, sometimes significantly. Higher levels of motivation and productivity are also generally reported as benefits. Some research even suggests that areas of the brain believed to influence processes like attention, motivation, and focus become enlarged while using the supplement.
As a stimulant product, Ampheta may also help with weight reduction. This may be due to an increase in the speed of the metabolism. It is also thought to have a natural appetite suppressing effect, so you may find yourself eating less. Of course, this is not a main reason to use the supplement, since many people find these benefits fading and becoming less effective over time in this regard.
Ampheta Dosage:
The proper dosage level of this drug is best determined by consulting with a qualified medical professional. There are a number of factors to consider such as your medical history and why you need Ampheta S/Combo.
As an example, someone using this for ADHD treatment will likely need a different dose than another person who is using it simply as a wakefulness agents (although Modafinil would be a better product for this purpose). Also, the dosage depends on your age as children should be using much less than adult ADHD sufferers.
The generally recommended daily dosage range of Ampheta or Adderall for an adult is between 5 and 60 mg. It should normally be taken immediately upon arising in the morning and then throughout the day in 4 to 6 hour intervals. Of course, always follow the guidelines imposed by a doctor.
New users should also start out with the lowest effective dosage and ideally you should not increase your dosage unless fully necessary. Become familiar with its effects upon your body before deciding to increase the dose. In either case, it is certainly never advisable to up your dose by more than 10 mg each week.
Ampheta Side Effects:
The most commonly seen side effect of Ampheta is the possibility of tolerance.
There is some evidence to suggest that with long-term use, the ability of the brain and body to produce the neurotransmitters effected by the supplement may be impaired.
This is normally not a permanent situation, but in many cases it can require months before natural and normal production levels are reached again.
There are a few additional side effects associated with this drug in adults. These are generally mild and include dry mouth, nausea, loss of appetite, stomach pains, anxiety, sleep problems, headache, or weakness.
Ampheta Review:
Although Ampheta S Combo is very effective for temporarily boosting focus and concentration, there are some serious risks and dangers associated with this drug. Whether using Ampheta vs. Adderall, this is not something to try unless following the advice of a doctor. If you need to use this product, just be sure to keep the doses low and monitor yourself for signs of possible tolerance build-up.
Alternatively, you may want to try one of the non-pharmaceutical nootropic supplements available that can boost concentration, give you more mental energy and improve your mood. These supplements are non-toxic, do not cause problems with tolerance and they can actually enhance the health of your brain cells over the long term.
A common nootropic stack to replace Ampheta or Adderall is Piracetam and Citicoline, but there are many different options depending on your goals and needs. Some individuals may decide to combine Adderall with Piracetam at first while they slowly ween themselves off their dependence on the drug.
