Noopept is a synthetic Racetam supplement that is also considered to be a very potent Nootropic substance.
In terms of its structure, this supplement is similar to Piracetam, the first of all Nootropics developed.
One of the main differences between the two is that Noopept has a much higher degree potency which means you can take a much smaller dose to induce the same benefits.
If you have been reading about this nootropic, you may have come across data about the extremely short Noopept half-life.
One study found that the supplement was half eliminated in rodents after 16 minutes.
While it is true that the half-life of Noopept is much shorter than other similar cognitive enhancers, this does not mean that the duration of effects is equally short.
However, there are steps that you can take to maximize your use of Noopept considering its half-life.

- Supports memory, focus & mood
- Boosts mental alertness & energy
- Increases BDNF & promotes brain health

Currently, Noopept is receiving a lot of attention for it benefits, especially those related to cognition and also the ability to protect the brain from damage.
This supplement was invented in Russia and has been very widely prescribed and used throughout Europe.
The supplement is currently available in the United States and throughout many parts of the world if you are willing to order it online.
Since its potency is so much higher than the typical Nootropic supplements, you really only need to take a little bit.
This means that Noopept is actually one of the cheapest brain boosters available on a cost per dosage basis.
Like most other Nootropics, Noopept does have some significant benefits in the areas of memory, learning, and cognition.
The supplement boosts the production and/or release of Acetylcholine, a highly active brain chemical that is involved in a number of cognitive processes. This neurotransmitter helps to improve the overall communications between your neurons.
Noopept also influences a number of other neurotransmitters within the brain, especially Glutamate.

- 1000x more potent than Piracetam
- Supports memory, focus and mood
- Boosts mental alertness and energy
Benefits and Reported Effects
Noopept works to increase your memory and learning capacity by potentiating the chemicals used in memory storage, consolidation and recall. There is evidence suggesting that the supplement improves overall synapse plasticity which results in the formation of new connections.
More connections between neurons leads to improved reasoning and problem-solving skills as well. Taking Noopept also makes it easier to recall new (and old) concepts and make associations between different concepts on several levels at once.
Users of this nootropic also report a lengthened attention span and better ability to focus and concentrate.
By definition, a true Nootropic also includes an element of boosting brain health and/or protection. Noopept does this and more.
For starters, it is a powerful anti-oxidant that is thought to relieve oxidative stress including the ability to scavenge free radicals and fight apoptosis in brain cells. In addition to removing toxins and poisons from the brain, this supplement is thought to reverse the trend of brain cell damage that is often seen in people with certain cognitive disorders.
It is thought that long-term use of Noopept will have a positive effect on overall brain health and neuronal protection.
Noopept also results in increased levels of nerve growth factor (NGF) and brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). These chemicals are both thought to play an important role in how the brain is able to form new memories, learn, and adapt to new information. They are both considered vital in terms of neuroplasticity.
Noopept Half Life:
An important element to keep in mind with any supplement is its half-life. Simply put, this is the amount of time that approximately half of the original substance will still remain within your system.
It is a measure of how fast the supplement breaks down in your body. In the case of Noopept, this half-life is quite short.
Most researchers place this at between 30 to 60 minutes, though some studies have found it to be eliminated in an even shorter period of time. For many users, this information may seem to make Noopept less attractive as a cognitive enhancement option.
There are other brain boosters in the Racetam family with significantly longer half-lives such as Pramiracetam (6 hours) or even Piracetam (5 hours).

- Focus longer, clear brain fog & feel more motivated
- Boost energy, alertnes & memory
- Contains 12 safe and natural nootropic ingredients
However, this does not necessarily mean that after those first 60 minutes, Noopept will only be half as effective. It just means that through absorption, elimination, and a number of additional processes, there is now less that can be measured within the blood.
One of the theories about how Noopept works is that it is actually metabolized into other compounds such as cycloprolyglycine which then hves a positive effect on brain function. This would necessitate a short half-life for Noopept whereby it is converted into other compounds that exert their positive effects on the brain.
In studies, the effects of Noopept are felt for much longer periods of time than the known half-life and that is what is most important.
How To Take Noopept:
Most users say that they feel the effects of Noopept for up to 3 or 4 hours after taking it. Primarily due to the short half life, most experts suggest that Noopept is broken into smaller doses and taken 2 or 3 times throughout the day.
The typically recommended dosage is about 30 mg per day, so this could mean 3 administrations of 10 mg each or even 4 administrations of 7 ½ mg each. If you are using tablets, this might involve cutting those tablets in pieces.
Or you can purchase a milligram scale and buy Noopept powder for the most effective dosage control.
Noopept Side Effects:
Noopept is considered to be a very safe Nootropic supplement. It is generally very well-tolerated in healthy adults and unlike most other Racetams and Nootropics, Noopept does not cause headaches, since its primary action involves influencing Glutamate receptors within the brain.
There are some side effects associated with this supplement, primarily GI tract distress. However, these effects are normally only seen when the supplement is consumed in higher than recommended doses.
Furthermore, due to the short Noopept half-life, these side effects typically disappear very quickly and will not reappear later.

So if I took some noopept today, how long could it be detected in s urine lab gm/cs screening
You do realize that these are currently legal everywhere, right? That does not matter.
not in competitive sport.
