Many people today are interested in using supplements to improve things like memory, learning capacity, focus and concentration, and even mental energy.
If this could be done through a single all-natural nootropic stack that was easy to take, so much the better.
Oh, and having the ability to improve mood and induce more restful sleep would be great as well.
Such is the promise of Onnit Alpha Brain – a cognitive supplement that contains exclusively natural nootropics. The ingredients found in Alpha Brain do rate among some of the most widely used brain boosters available today.
But what exactly are the effects of this nootropic stack from Onnit Labs? Does the Alpha Brain supplement really live up to its claims and promises or is it another marketing scam?

Alpha Brain is a Nootropic blend of ingredients that are designed to help users increase their cognitive performance and energy levels.
Additionally, the hope is that by balancing brain waves this product can lead to more confidence and greater social interaction with others (even if you had previously considered yourself to be shy).
This supplement contains 11 different Nootropic ingredients which is why we call it a stack. Many of these ingredients are thought to help increase oxygen levels in the brain and trigger the release of powerful neurotransmitters (and other chemicals) that are responsible for many of our cognitive functions.
In many cases, the Alpha Brain ingredients work synergistically by potentiating each other, causing the effects to be even greater than what might have been seen if they were taken separately. Here are some of the primary Alpha Brain effects and benefits that you may experience:

- Focus longer, clear brain fog & feel more motivated
- Boost energy, alertnes & memory
- Contains 12 safe and natural nootropic ingredients
Memory Improvement:
One of the most important chemicals in the brain related to cognitive function is Acetylcholine. This neurotransmitter is directly involved with the formation of new memories as well as recalling stored memories and reasoning and performing calculations.
When taking Alpha Brain supplement pills, users normally experience an increase in their levels of Acetylcholine, due to an excellent source of choline called Alpha GPC, which is converted in the body to Acetylcholine. This serves to help improve memory and possibly even leads to faster recall.
In addition to the choline source, this supplement also includes Huperzine A. This ingredient actually inhibits, or prevents, the breakdown of the Acetylcholine in the brain. In other words, these two ingredients both help each other to work more effectively, leading to higher neurotransmitter levels and increased memory.
Mood Enhancement:
Alpha Brain also includes L-Tyrosine. While this may seem like a common amino acid, it is important due to the fact that it plays a critical role in the production of Dopamine. Dopamine is considered one of the key players in terms of influencing things like mood and movement.
So, as Alpha Brain increases your Dopamine levels, you will notice a significant improvement in mood. Not only this, but it may even lead to a more relaxed and comfortable feeling. This may be proof of Alpha Brain’s positive effects on depression, anxiety and stress levels.
Sleep and Lucid Dreaming:
Many users also report improved sleep quality and clarity of their dreams when using Alpha Brain.
One possible explanation is that the excess Dopamine levels make it easier to relax and fall asleep. This is also quite beneficial for those who feel a lot of stress.
As for the improved clarity of dreams, the extra Acetylcholine is part of the explanation. There are also additional ingredients that have been known to help potentiate very clear and even lucid dreams.
While the choline and Acetylcholine helps, the vitamin B6 and Theanine can also act as catalysts in this process.
Brain Protection:
We are all concerned about protecting their brain from damage, and reversing what damage may have already been done. Onnit Alpha Brain also contains some substances that are thought to help act in just these ways.
For example, Vinpocetine is a natural Nootropic found in Periwinkle plants. It helps to deliver the rest of the ingredients to the brain by increasing blood flow. It is also known as a powerful vasodilater, helping to open up the blood vessels in order to effect this process.
Side Effects:
The Alpha Brain supplement is very safe and not toxic at all. With all-natural ingredients this is to be expected. There have also not been any cases of dangerous Alpha Brain side effects ever actually reported.
If you are especially susceptible or sensitive to choline this might result in a slight headache, but even this is rare. Overall, Alpha Brain is very well-tolerated with side effects being almost non-existent.
Is Onnit Alpha Brain a Scam?
The bottom line is that anyone who is at all concerned with improving their memory, learning, or other cognitive functions should give Alpha Brain a try.
The nootropic ingredients found in Alpha Brain are all well documented and researched as having brain boosting effects and benefits. Onnit is a well-known and respected manufacturer, so the product quality is assured as well.
In order to make this product even more effective, users might consider stacking Alpha Brain with a Racetam nootropic. This could be whatever your personal favorite happens to be at the moment. If you are going for the most powerful effects and benefits, consider using either Pramiracetam or Noopept with this product.
For beginners, it is generally recommended that you start with Piracetam before moving on to the stronger nootropics out there. This will help you get the most out of using Alpha Brain and enhance the benefits of this already proven supplement.

I am so confused. I was recommended a product with ingredients I know helped before (Focus Factor, no longer available from that company), but it has some extra ingredients I do not need or would be a problem for me. I did a google search for Mucuna pruriens, Rhodiola rosea,Vinpocetine and Huperzine, and came to your site. I see one product of interest, Optimind, with an offer of a free trial of 10 capsules, but have been clicking here and there, I believe even taken to another site, trying to see the list of exactly what is in it, and what it costs. Between some brain fog and lots to do, I have wasted too much time on this.
I will continue searching for a similar product, but thought you should know, the layout of this site seems to make it more difficult for people to find this sort of information.
Hi Kathy,
Thanks for your feedback. If you’re looking for a list of Optimind ingredients, you can find it in our review at https://nootriment.com/optimind-review/
